Generate a random password with letters, numbers and symbols.
A strong password is long, random and different for every account. This generator creates random passwords with the length and character types you choose, such as uppercase letters, numbers and symbols. Passwords are generated in your browser and are not stored or sent anywhere.
Aim for at least 12 to 16 characters and use a different password for each account. A password manager helps you keep track of them.
No. The password is generated in your browser and is not saved or transmitted.
This tool builds a password from the character types you tick: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. You can choose a length from 4 to 50 characters, and the default is 16. Randomness comes from your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), which is meant for security uses, unlike the simple Math.random function.
The password is generated on your device. It is not sent to a server or stored by ToolMitra.
With all four types selected, the pool has 88 characters. A 16-character password then has about 103 bits of entropy, which is far beyond what can be guessed by brute force.
By comparison, an 8-letter lowercase-only password has only about 38 bits and can be cracked quickly by modern tools.
This generator runs in your browser and does not send the result anywhere. Even so, generate it, copy it straight into your password manager, and do not share it.
At least 12 to 16 characters for important accounts. Longer is better.
No. Nothing is stored or transmitted.
The tool limits the length to 50 characters, which is already far more than most sites allow.
